Well that mean I have the easiest job in the world doesn't it? Sounds like a deal, the only down side is well Gevlon. Besides Deadly was at War with Goonswarm before Gevlon (Gevlon Deal! Gevlon Wheel!) Came around anyways. The only difference is we have a client rather than using our own iskies. Also, Tora. How does one fire a client? When I see people who think EVE is a job, it makes me a little sad inside.

When I see people who think EVE is a job, it makes me a little sad inside. Not really job. I would woooork far harder if my real job provided me in spaceships. =\ Also twisting words is not nice. >,..,> No words were twisted, you referred to what you do in game as a job. It's supposed to be for entertainment, and some people take it far too seriously. I pity those people. |

I pity those people. Running Marmites is like a second job too, why pity me if I love doing my job. Because it's pretty sad to be that invested in a game as an adult that you consider it a job you have to do.
I loved my job of playing games too though, when I was 12.

Skandel wrote:Thanks for taking the time out of your busy real life, on several occasions, to remind us all about how seriously you don't take this game, Tim. Must have grated on you doing that, considering it's all very unimportant.
o/ You're welcome.
Tora Bushido wrote:Why doesn't anyone tell me anything these days. I never knew there was an age limit for having fun @CCP : Can we upgrade the having fun age for Eve to 90 years in the next patch ? Age limit on fun? You must have misread, since I said nothing of the sort. I think you'll find that what I alluded to was that generally kids treat computer games as a job, and adults tend to separate entertainment out. We're all here to have fun, that's not in question. Are you sure your comprehension skills are strong enough for you to run for CSM?
Skandel wrote:Tim's probably just bitter that he doesn't get the same buzz out of embroidery as he used to get out of Frogger.
Getting old happens to us all, sadly.
Oh well, I have a jigsaw to finish before I head off to Widdershins.
Laters o/ Embroidery is incredibly relaxing. I wouldn't consider that a job either unless you were a professional embroiderer. Frogger made a comeback in the recent Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, it was very exciting. |

Xorphix wrote:Did you have something of importance to talk about in this topic, or are you just acting the neighbourhood troll? It's funny, because I don't remember trolling. I pointed out that I feel bad for people who treat a computer game as a job, then I was subjected to overly defensive posts in response by people who, one assumes, treat the game as a job. No trolling was done from my side. |
